12 Projects using Queen of Hearts by Fableism

The Queen of Hearts collection by Fableism caputured the hearts of many. Following it’s release, many great makers and sewist gifted us with incredible ideas and inspiration showcasing this amazing collection.

Over the past few months, I’ve saved many ideas in hopes that I would be able to get my hands on the collection again. Well, good news I sourced the entire collection and I’m releasing bundles!! To add to the fun, I’ve rounded up 12 fun projects in hopes it helps get the inspiration flowing. So, without further delay, here are 12 projects by incredible makers.

#1 - FREE Queen of Hearts Quilt Pattern by Sisters Quilt Shop

This is the project that HOOKED me. Simplistic, easy construction and it features the rich colorful soft woven collection. #2 - Fabric Bows made by Amanda

Amanda of Prairie Quilt Co crafted these adorable bows and in Queen of Hearts, sold! The small puffy bow tutorial is from @mollyjoklein and the larger bow tutorial is from @aboderie.

#3 - Broken Dishes Quilt for a tree skirt

Amanda of @PrairieQuiltCo recently used her free Broken Dishes quilt pattern found HERE to make the Connie Tree Skirt by Syd Graham and I could squeal with delight.

Ashley of @Ashleys.Quilting.Diary crafted a Churn Dash Quilt by Penelope Handmade (pattern found {HERE}) in the Heritage Series using Queen of Hearts and Fableism Sprout for background.

#5 - Patchwork Hearts II by Emily Dennis (made by @baileybwright)

Do you only have a few pieces of the Queen of Hearts collection? Not a problem! The Patchwork Hearts II by Emily Dennis found HERE is just the project for limited fabrics but still has alllll the cuteness factor.

#6 - Courthouse Steps

Meghan of @ThenCameJune is always inspiring me, so when she got her hands on Queen of Hearts…GAME OVER. This free Courhouse Steps pattern by Toad & Sew found {HERE} is gosh darn GORGEOUS. I may have even purchased a bolt of the border fabric just to make this quilt. Yes, a bolt. I know, I know. It makes no sense HA!

#7 - Always Together Quilt by Remi Vail Studio

I’ve made the Always Together quilt pattern twice and definitely need a 3rd in this collection. Scrappy and Queen of Hearts is a slam dunk! Make sure you grab your Always Together quilt patten from @remivailstudio {HERE}.

This courthouse steps quilt by @Maryb_eths (Pattern by Penelope Handmade in the Heritage Series found {HERE}) is both visually appealing and really fun construction. If you’ve never made a courthouse steps block, add it to your bucket list.

#10 - Checkered Garden

Sewn by @Elizabethlynnthreads and tutorial by Film In The Fridge this very popular project is just ADORABLE! Elizabeth nailed it with her use of the Queen of Hearts collection plus a few additional solids to complete this project.

#11 - Swatch Quilt by Moda made by Amanda Lynn

Simplistic can often be the best application for some fabric collection and Queen of Hearts is no different. Swatch Quilt pattern is free from Moda and can be found {HERE}. This version by Amanda Lynn of @AmandaLynnMade is a cozy everyday comfort type of quilt.

#12 - Maggie Pearl by Penelope Handmade

Strip piece friendly in a classic checkerboard makes a great quick wovens project especially if you’re new to wovens and wants something comfortable and stress free.

I really hope you’ve walked away inspired to work with this gorgeous collection. I’ve clearly been touched, clearly (hehe) in hopes that I’d one day get the chance to work with it again, and I did. YAY!
